For nearly $14, this is a decent price for Naughty Monkey sandals compared to zappos or shoes.com. They looked fairly nice from the picture. However, I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the sandals -- very cheap construction. The soles seemed to be slapped together in haste and the rubber heel wasn't cleanly cut. You can actually see that they were trying to shave and round off the edges. It doesn't matter too much for me, since no one's going to be looking at the bottom of your sandals. But it does bother me that at one point, they would try to sell it for over 40 dollars at retail and give you shoddy construction. For goodness sake, it's already being made with cheap labor from India, can't the company use one rupee more for better construction materials?Also, ladies, they are a bit narrow. I wouldn't recommend it if your feet are wider than normal because the cross strap doesn't give you that much more room.Overall, they're fairly light sandals to walk around in but don't buy it for more than $14 and don't expect too much. The Daisy Mae toe thong might be a better alternative since it's also for the same price.I love the style of this sandal. I do not think it would be worth the original price and barely the SALE PRICE. It is so very thin and flimsy, it is almost like walking on cardboard. Similar style and leather sandals in K-Mart (Also Made in India) at Approx. $15.00 were better constructed.The style of the sandal is very lovely. The sole is rather thin and a bit flimsy. K-Mart sold sandals Made in India and the soles were much sturdier. The fit is a bit big. All in all I am enjoying my sandal by Naughty Monkey.Looks really nice in the picture but the toe pit of the sandal is just choking my big toe!! And it's really hard, so very uncomfortable... have them on right now... and not comfy at all1!!
